monkeyMan.jpgBlender 2.48a (Second Render)54 viewsThis is my 2nd render while learning to use Blender 2.48a on Ubuntu (8.0.41 Hardy Heron LTS). I used the "Blender: Noob to Pro" Wikibooks. Which are great, and very comprehensive. The Video tutorials from Super3boy are OK, except there is no real fluid learning flow to his Tutorials - he is a kid afterall, so while they are easy to follow they're not easy to learn Blender properly from beginning to pro. He just shows you how to use Blender's functions in a comprehensive way. gadmin
gengerBreadMan-002.jpgBlender 2.48a (Gengerbread Man - render)50 viewsThe finished gingerbread man, though he has no textures. He's just plain grey. I haven't learned texturing yet.gadmin

flailBlender-renderColored.jpgFlail - render 2 (with coloring)45 viewsI could've colored all the parts separately, but I forgot how to do that in Blender. So I colored the objects. Plus I added sun light. meh it looks like the Autodesk 3DS MAX flail, so I am proud, that I was able to do this without help and on my own. yay yay!gadmin
flailBlender-1.jpgFlail - edit mode42 viewsThis the same flail I created in Autodesk 3DS Max 2009 created in Blender 2.48a. Slightly modified, since the concepts learned in 3DS were different in Blender. I could have done exactly, but I am just learning to use Blender. And the 3DS flail tutorial was easier to do since it was video and the guy was experienced.gadmin
